Can your business nominate a Police Officer?

The salary you must pay
The salary must meet the threshold for the visa nominated and the market rate an Australian worker earns in the same role and location. The nominated salary then becomes a floor for as long as the worker is sponsored. Current thresholds · the employment contract.

Your obligations after the grant
- Pay at least the nominated salary, on terms no less favourable than an Australian worker's, for the whole time the worker is sponsored.
- Employ the worker in the nominated occupation, and keep the records the Department can ask to see.
- Tell the Department of certain changes, including the worker leaving, within the set period.
- Never recover sponsorship or nomination costs from the worker.
- Cooperate with monitoring. Sponsor obligations and monitoring in full.
