The skills assessment & RPL pathway for Midwife
For a Midwife (ANZSCO 254111), ANMAC conducts the migration skills assessment based on your midwifery qualification, registration and, for some applicants, English and employment. This is not VET RPL.
Registration to practise as a midwife is a separate requirement through AHPRA/NMBA and may involve an approved-qualification or outcomes-based pathway with possible bridging. Can I migrate as a midwife without Australian registration first?
The ANMAC skills assessment can proceed on your overseas qualification and registration, but to practise you will need AHPRA/NMBA registration, which is separate and may require bridging. Start both early, as registration can be the longer step.
