Permanent residency vs Australian citizenship
Permanent residence gives almost everything citizenship gives for daily life: work for anyone, Medicare, study at domestic fees, a home, sponsoring family. What it withholds is the vote, the passport, jury service, most public service and defence jobs, protection from cancellation on character grounds, and the right to come and go indefinitely, since the travel facility expires after five years and must be renewed with a Resident Return visa. Citizenship ends all of that and costs a few hundred dollars after four years of residence with limited absences; the only reason to delay it is a home country that does not allow dual citizenship.

Which side of that line you fall on depends on facts a table cannot hold — your age, score, occupation's lists, and what evidence you can actually assemble. That is consultation territory, not guesswork territory.
