NAATI Credentialed Community Language test vs Superior English
Both add points on top of the English the visa requires. A pass in the NAATI Credentialed Community Language test, in one of the languages it offers, earns five points, is sat once, and does not depend on the English score; superior English, 8 in each IELTS component or the equivalent, earns twenty, ten more than proficient, and is the larger prize for anyone within reach of it. The two are independent and are claimed together: an applicant at proficient English who speaks a community language sits the NAATI test for the five and keeps sitting English for the extra ten. Neither is quick money; the NAATI test has its own fee, waiting list and pass rate, and the superior level is the one most candidates miss by one component.

Which side of that line you fall on depends on facts a table cannot hold — your age, score, occupation's lists, and what evidence you can actually assemble. That is consultation territory, not guesswork territory.
