The costs agreement — read before you pay

• The service: The statement the Department reads to decide whether the position is real, written from your business’s facts. Prepared personally by Keshab Chapagain, registered migration agent MARN 1576536. Scope: The business, its growth and the need for the role set out against the Department’s genuine position tests; The duties mapped to the nominated occupation and its skill level, with the organisation chart; Delivered in editable Word for your nomination, with one round of revisions.
• The fee: A$1,000 + GST (A$1,100), paid by card at checkout and held in WIDEN’s clients’ account until the work is done and invoiced, as the Migration Agents Code of Conduct requires. The nomination itself and the labour market testing are separate services.
• First step: Keshab confirms within one business day that the statement can be written for your role and sends the questionnaire; if it cannot, the payment is refunded in full.
• Timeframe: 5 working days from the completed questionnaire. You provide: A short questionnaire about the business, the role and the person, and the position description if one exists.
• No guarantee: no nomination or visa outcome can be guaranteed by any registered migration agent (s 15, Migration (Migration Agents Code of Conduct) Regulations 2021).
• Who pays: the sponsoring business. The law prevents an employer recovering sponsorship or nomination costs from the worker, and WIDEN does not accept payment for this service from a worker.
