- You manage DAR and Department liaison — we’re available for concession submissions and RFI responses throughout the process.

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between a DAMA and a standard 482 visa?
A DAMA allows employers in designated regional areas to sponsor workers in occupations or at salary levels not available under the standard 482 program. DAMAs have specific concessions (e.g. lower English requirements, lower salary thresholds) negotiated between the region and the Commonwealth.
Do I need to apply to the DAR first?
Yes — before lodging a nomination with the Department, the employer must be endorsed by the Designated Area Representative for that DAMA region. We prepare the endorsement application as part of our service.
Can you help with occupations not on the standard skilled list?
Yes — that’s the main advantage of DAMAs. Many occupations that are not on MLTSSL or STSOL are available under specific DAMAs. We assess eligibility against the relevant DAMA occupation list.
