Lauri Stewart BA (Hons) / LLB, MARN 0850542 is the principal of Stewart Administrative & Migration Lawyers, a firm based in West Gippsland, country Victoria.

Lauri has been working as an immigration lawyer for more than 10 years, working at Clothier Anderson Immigration Lawyers and Refugee Legal (formerly the Refugee and Immigration Legal Centre) before opening her own practice in October 2018. Over the course of her career thus far, Lauri has worked on all manner of immigration, Citizenship, refugee and human rights matters: including applications at the primary stage, attending Department interviews, character matters, merits review and judicial review (both at the appellate level and originating applications in the High Court of Australia). She has been a regular attendee and advocates at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, for immigration, character and Citizenship matters.
Lauri has also written and presented continuing legal education and OMARA continuing professional development seminars and workshops through Refugee Legal and the Migration Institute of Australia, as well as presenting customized lectures to high schools and hospitals. She has appeared before the Senate Committee on Legal and Constitutional Affairs to speak to her submissions on proposed legislation and published articles on Citizenship law and resilience in young lawyers.
